Casino Hotels Worth Visiting Even If You Don't Gamble

Casino hotels have a reputation: they're for gamblers. But the best properties have evolved into full-scale resorts where the casino is just one amenity among many. If you don't gamble, you can still have an excellent stay — and often at better value than traditional luxury hotels.
The Venetian and Palazzo in Las Vegas are prime examples. The rooms are among the largest on the Strip — 700-plus square feet with sunken living areas. The Grand Canal Shoppes offer high-end retail. The restaurant lineup includes Thomas Keller's Bouchon and Wolfgang Puck's CUT. You can spend a weekend here without setting foot in the casino. Same for Wynn and Encore: the pool complex, the spa, and the dining are world-class. The casino is optional.
Bellagio appeals to non-gamblers with the Conservatory, the Fountains, and Gallery of Fine Art. The Cosmopolitan's rooftop pool and restaurant scene draw a crowd that may never touch a slot. In regional markets, Beau Rivage Biloxi and Mohegan Sun offer strong spas, pools, and dining. Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is worth visiting for the rooftop pool alone — the view is unforgettable.
The key: pick properties that invest in non-gaming amenities. Avoid budget casinos that rely on gambling revenue to subsidise everything else. The top-tier resorts treat the casino as one revenue stream among many. For non-gamblers, that means a full resort experience without compromise.
